Palatine, IL. 13 May 2022 – Impact100 Chicago, a 100% volunteer women’s organization which each year awards a $100,000 grant to a worthy Chicago area nonprofit organization, announced their 3 finalists for the 2021-2022 grant cycle.

The three finalists nominated for this year’s grant cycle Impact award are The Cancer Support Center in Homewood, Youth Conservations Corps in Waukegan, and Youth Crossroads, Inc. in Berwyn. The Impact Award winner will receive $100,000 and the remaining finalists will receive Merit Awards of $5,000 each.

Impact100 Chicago members pool their $1,000 annual membership donations to award impactful $100,000 grants to nonprofits in the 8 collar counties and suburban Cook County. Each member can choose to participate on various committees throughout the process, and everyone gets an equal vote at the celebration.

Corporate sponsors Buckley Fine Law, Meat & Potatoes Eatery, Motor Werks of Barrington, Rieke Office Interiors, Salon Lorrene and Wintrust Community Banks contribute funds towards the grant awards and membership.

This year’s Impact Grant recipient will be announced at their annual Grant Award Celebration, on 14 June 2022, to be held at the Grove County Club in Long Grove. Tickets will be sold through 1 June on their website.

Since its inception in 2010, Impact100 Chicago has awarded more than $3.2 million in grants which have had a transformative impact on the recipients and those they serve.

“There are so many worthy organizations right here in our neighborhoods who do important work to improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals and communities,” said Deb Gammon, the current President. “We look forward to announcing this year’s Impact Grant recipient and work with them to develop their projects and achieve their goals to help the underserved.”
