Robert Shears, Executive Director

Executive Director Robert Shears joined YCC 2 years ago to make a difference in young adults’ lives.  Bob came from Little City Foundation, a nonprofit that offers services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  He spent 6 years there as Chief Administration Officer.  Bob’s corporate experience spans 32 years at Maytag Corporation in various leadership roles, including the International Division Chief Financial Officer and President.

Bob has a BS in Physics/Math from Illinois State University and a MBA in Finance from Roosevelt University.  Bob enjoys hiking and camping in the true wilderness.
